Apartment Fire Causes Water Damage To Apartment Below

An unattended stove was the cause of fire damage to a third floor apartment in Camden, South Carolina.  Several families were displaced due to water damage, and smoke damage.  The water damage was a direct result of the water used to put out the fire, causing the water to filter through the floor, and into the apartment below.  The smoke damage was due to the fire itself causing smoke to infiltrate neighboring apartments.
